By a "project", I mean
anything that takes more than one sitting to
complete, or involves more than one activity
line. If you know the end result you
must produce, no matter what the scale is,
you can use the materials and models in this
section. They are fully scalable, but the larger
projects incorporate longer time frames and
require more sophisticated management tools,
and more robust team management skills.
Some
of these tools and skills can be learned from
materials here. Also,
there are several references around the site
to books, magazines and articles which should
help in managing the specific content and the
size of your project.
There
are many aspects to managing projects, and
one very important
(and often neglected one) is the management
and development of the team that is working
on the project. These project management materials
deal with communication, reporting, designing
the project developing the project manager
and team, etc. The Project Design articles
focus on the design model which should be applicable
to most situations.

Reporting
Reporting
is much overlooked as a project management
tool. But it is important, during the life
of a project to accurately report on the progress,
problems and accomplishments of a project.
